Face to face interview required.
Skills needed:
The following on-the-job, Oracle software experience (not including training
or education) is required:
1) A total of at least 5 years of Oracle system DBA implementation and
administration experience, for which at least 3 years were on Oracle
Enterprise 10g and 2 years were on Enterprise 11g.
2) Considerable Oracle RAC and Grid Infrastructure implementation and
administration experience for Oracle 11g, including 11g Release 2.
3) Considerable Oracle Data Guard implementation and administration
experience for Oracle 11g, including 11g Release 2.
4) Considerable recovery strategy and Oracle RMAN backup/recovery tool
experience for meeting Service Level Agreements.
5) Considerable Oracle OEM implementation and administration experience for
Enterprise 11g.
6) Considerable Oracle Enterprise Linux experience.
The Client is implementing a major new, in-house developed, law enforcement
application for multi-agency use. A senior Oracle system Data Base
Administrator (DBA) is needed for a lead role to implement, test, and tune
both development and production database environments, as well as to
implement database backup and disaster recovery procedures per client*s
standards. The successful candidate will also be experienced in developing
Oracle database administration documentation to be used by client*s DBA
staff for ongoing maintenance and support purposes, and in providing
technical staff with technology transfer instruction for the delivered
environments.
