We are in need of an experienced SQL Developer, this position requires a
background in managed care, employee benefits or other healthcare
industries. The candidate must possess strong T-SQL and SSIS skills and
experience with Healthcare Payer Platforms.
Job Description: The SQL Server Developer will be assigned as a technical
resource on various projects involving SQL Server 2005/2008, as well as
performing duties such as documenting requirements, source-to-Client
mappings, and program logic, designing solutions, testing, and
implementation.
*Requirements:* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
preferred Background in managed care, employee benefits, health insurance,
healthcare (non-payer) or other healthcare industries strongly preferred;
focus on healthcare payer software platforms Excellent knowledge of ETL
concepts including data migration integrity, focusing on SQL Server
Integration Services (SSIS) Strong knowledge of Transact-SQL with SQL Server
2005/2008 Working knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); PL/SQL
with Oracle 10g a plus Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong business analysis and needs assessment skills; must be comfortable
and effective working directly with end users Ability to manage priorities
and handle simultaneous demands; able to work in a fast paced and demanding
environment Must meet performance standards including attendance and
punctuality
*Note:* Preference will be given to candidates with strong T-SQL and SSIS
skills with a background in managed care, employee benefits or other
healthcare industries, special focus on healthcare payer software platforms.
