Primary responsibilities: JCAP administration, WAS administration, UNIX AIX
administration, Linux Red Hat and MQ administration
Conducts system analysis, configuration management and develops improvements
for system software performance, availability and reliability. Perform
Incident resolution, Problem Determination and Root Cause Analysis in
accordance with Service Level Agreements. Designs, develops, recommends and
implements new or revised system software, utilities and automated processes
as necessary. Implements appropriate levels of system security. Provides
technical expertise for system Transitions, Migrations and Consolidations.
Provides technical assistance to IT support staff, including but not limited
to, DBAs, Network Engineers, Application Developers, other System
Administrators, Project Managers, Change Managers and Business Development
staff.
Comprehensive troubleshooting skills. Outstanding written and verbal
communication skills.
Must demonstrate high proficiency at the UNIX command line involving a
variety of utilities, interpreters and compilers. Must be recognized as an
proficient Shell Programmer.
Required Experience/skills: Hands on exp Java , SOA architecture, WAS, MQ,
Apache, J2EE, shell scripts,
Nice to have Experience/skills: JCAPS Administration and JCAPS build
process, JBOSS, Oracle Application Server, Linux, UNIX flavor OS.
3-5 Years of Experience in Middleware Administration
