The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Create and maintain Business Objects Universe
- Train BO Administrators to understand the created Universe for changes and
administration
- Train end users on BO Universe reports
- Create and maintain BO Universe and reports XIR
- Monitor BO Universes and identify improvement idea
- Assist designers, developers, administrators, and users in the use of BO
Universe and reporting resources
- Provide on-call support
- Develop and support Xcelsius Dashboards
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must be flexible and adjust to changing schedules / priorities
- Possess excellent problem solving skills
- Familiar with SQL and DB2 database architecture
- 5 years of experience designing and maintaining Business Objects Universe
(in both SQL and DB2 environments)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Business Objects 6.5, XI r1, XIr2, and XIr3
- Data Warehouse data modeling experience
- Experience with SQL Reporting Services
- Proficient with Xcelsius 2008
