Job Summary
The QA Analyst will act as the gatekeeper to ensure that the SW and Code is
tested and validated throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
• Attain proficiency in testing all Blue Cod supported products
• Write effective test matrixes and integrate them into our SDLC
methodology.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts as build test cases and results
expectations,
• Ensure traceability between business requirements, functional
specifications, and QA test plans
• Validate test results using standard query tools against SQL databases.
• Accountable for various testing efforts using manual and automated testing
tools
• Communicate, prioritize and organize tasks effectively
• Effectively switch between multiple concurrent assignments
• Interact with both clients and internal support staffs
• Collaborate with the business analysts and customers to track and resolve
project defects
• Gatekeeper for implementing resolved defects into the UAT environments.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years QA experience – must have Property and Casualty
Insurance Lines.
• Ability to write effective test matrixes, perform test scenarios, build
and document test cases and results expectations.
• Strong Communications Skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks well
• Working knowledge of SQL tools
• Experience with structured testing tools is a plus.
• Experience with Silk Test or like automation tools is desired.
• Some evening and weekend work required
