*Role-Informatica ETL Developer* –

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Duration  : 12 month

Client is Prudential

*Work as member of the ETL team in the DataAssets group responsible for the
Development , Unit testing , Performance tuning and  maintenance of the
Informatica ETL processes for Prudential Real Estate and Relocation
Services. *

*The ETL Developer works closely with other ETL team members , System
Analysts , Business Intelligence , Database and Application Development
teams. *

*Primary Responsibilities:** *

*·        Creates complex technical solutions and design utilizing
Informatica Power Center tools. *
*·        Provides technical guidance and direction for each ETL (Extract,
Transform and Load) project design and development and ensure documentation
is produced using defined methodologies. *
*·        Understand metadata and working knowledge on the Informatica Power
Center Repository,  Power center MetaData Reporter tool and documentation
involving the business rules.   *
*·        Seeks out best practices to find opportunities for improvements in
order to develop processes and makes recommendations for implementation. *
*·        Leverage skills and experience to contribute to overall
architecture, in developing end-to-end system design for specific data
warehouse application, propose new development standards, escalate issues
and assess risks and look out for Data Integration Development interests in
project teams. *
*·        Strong knowledge on Data Analysis & Data Profiling. *

*Knowledge & Background Requirements:** *

*·        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience. *
*·        Minimum 5 years of Experience in ETL development in Informatica
8.1 or higher versions. *
*·         Knowledge of Information technology/Information management best
practice implementation in the field of data management services and
solutions. *
*·        Knowledge of Data warehousing concepts such as data modeling, data
quality, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) and ETL methodologies. *
*·        Knowledge of both Entity Relational Modeling and Dimensional
Modeling using ERWIN tool. *
*·        Experience with MS SQL server 2005/2008(T-sql) and Oracle 10g
databases(pl/sql), skills like SSIS package development(huge plus for this
position) and core SQL development on SQL Server side. *
*·        In-depth understanding and knowledge of Star Schema and Snowflake
schema. *
*·        Working knowledge of the Business Intelligence (BI, OLAP, and
ROLAP)  tools (Business Objects) *
*·        Identify and resolve the ETL/SQL Performance issues. *
*·        Knowledge of UNIX shell scripting, Perl scripting and knowledge of
dimensional modeling is a huge plus. *
*·        Working Knowledge of the following tools : Quality Center,
Microsoft Team Foundation Server, PVCS. *
