*TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT *

OCPS currently utilizes several enterprise wide systems to support our
business. We run SAP ECC 6.0 with EHP4 for our core business application. We
use Pearson's SMS, version 7.3.1 as our student system, with plans to
upgrade with 7.5 in the near future. We use Microsoft's Active Directory
2003 and Microsoft's Exchange 2007. The Enterprise Data Warehouse uses an
Oracle 11.1.0.7.0 database, OWB 11.1.07 and OBIEE 10.1.3.4. We have
approximately 24,000 employees and over 177,000 students. While all
employees‟ currently have Active Directory accounts, many of our students
are not currently provisioned Active Directory accounts.

*Position Number 1 Senior Data Warehouse Developer – 20 hours a week (onsite
or remote 6 months) ***

*QUALIFICATIONS: *

 6+ years enterprise experience with detailed knowledge of data warehouse
technical architectures, Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools and
environments, and data structures. Oracle Warehouse Builder experience and
SAP ETL experience required.

 4+ years experience with relational and star schema data modeling
concepts.

 Experience in relational database concepts with a solid knowledge of
Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL.

 2+ years experience with a large data warehousing environment.

 Leadership skills to indirectly facilitate cross-functional teams towards
common solutions, without direct management control over those teams or
resources.

 Demonstrated communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning
skills in support of business leaders, technology leaders, colleagues, and
vendor representatives.



*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: *

Knowledge of data warehousing technical components (e.g. ETL, Data Model),
Infrastructure (e.g. hardware and software) and their integration. Knowledge
of overall data warehouse architecture and designs, star schemas,
dimensional models, and data marts. Ability to develop efficient, flexible,
extensible, and scalable complex ETL mappings. Engages in collaborative
development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and
practices. Skilled using PL/SQL, Linux, SQL Developer, and Toad.



*PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: *

 Work with the Enterprise Data Architect and the Senior Data Warehouse
Architect to gather requirements and provide estimates and scheduling.

 Ability to analyze complex requirements to determine the best technical
approach to meet requirements of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL)
procedures that support Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

 Ability to work as a team player to achieve results. Must be able to build
positive working relationships with Data Base Administrators, ETL
developers, and BI developers.

 Responsible for the development of complex ETL processes for all projects
assigned.

 Ability to design the data infrastructure.

 Participates in the design, completeness and compatibility of the
technical infrastructure to support system performance, availability and
architecture requirements

 Ability to design and plan for the integration for all data warehouse
technical components

 Provides input and recommendations on technical issues to the project
manager

 Participates in testing of the data design, tool design, and data
extracts/transforms.
