POSITION
The UX Support candidate works within the agile development preparatory team
to define stories for future SCRUM iterations in an agile process. The
candidate is responsible for all user story wire framing of user interface
functionality for the review of product owners, customers, and SMEs.
Interacts with the client and project roles (e.g., Project Manager, Business
Analyst, Data Engineer) as required, to gain an understanding of the
business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic
direction. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and
resolve business and or technical problems. Applies metrics to monitor
performance and measure key project parameters. The UX Support candidate
prepares system documentation, stories, and application wireframes
conforming to applicable project standards.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION (PRIORITIZED)
Essential Experience and Capability -- This position requires:
Technical Skills
3+ years experience with Java Server Faces
3+ years experience with RAD (rapid application development) techniques
Experience with with CSS and UI widget libraries.
Experience on the use of Agile or participating as Agile team member.
Experienced in test driven development (TDD) and continuous integration
techniques, proficient in designing web-services.
Business Skills
Skilled at examination and analysis of typical business workflow scenarios
Detail oriented deliverable focused
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with local and remote team with excellent
verbal communication.
The ability to communicate on a technical as well as a non-technical level
The ability to understand applications from a technical and business
perspective
The candidate must be a proven team player with strong interpersonal skills
possessing a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with varying
priorities
Ability to make sound decisions based on business, technology, and QA
guidelines
Preferred Experience and Capability V The preferred candidate will have one
or all of the following in addition to all the minimum experience and
capability listed above:
Technical Skills
Experience in airline PSS or travel industry
Any experience with Maven/Coburtura
GRAILS
Previous experience in using Rallys Agile Management tool (Rally Dev)
