Job Description for a Contractor (Software Engineer):
The Systems Engineer is responsible for the development of product solution
components. Systems Engineers work with Business Analysts and Architects to
understand business requirements and solution architecture of the product;
they work with other Systems Engineers to produce integrated solutions based
on project requirements; and with Quality Assurance Analysts and Operations
Analysts to test, promote and deploy developed solutions. Systems Engineers
must adhere to coding standards and processes and contribute to technical
code documentation.
- Require 7+ years of solid hands-on experience developing distributed or
client-server applications using all or almost all of the following
technologies: object-oriented analysis and design, .NET (C#, ADO.NET, Win
Forms), COM+, XML, HTML
- Prefer 7+ year of extensive hands-on experience with .Net/C#
- Proficient in enterprise architecture, web services, and/or internet
security.
- Understand software development life cycle
- Must work well in team environment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills. Capable of working
directly with business clients.
- Computer Science/Engineering degree preferred.
- Application development in Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7, SQL
Server 2008 and Visual Studio.NET 2008 environment.
