Position: Java Developer Consultant Location: Austin, TX Duration: 12 Months with possibility of Extension Rate: Open $/Hr All Inclusive Start Date: ASAP Positions: One Position Description 1. Design and Develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems & interfaces using J2EE and open source technologies - specifically Struts/JAVA/JSP/JSF/Spring/Ajax/JQuery/TagLibs and JDBC 2. Analyze requirements and design workflows and database schemas 3. Be willing to work on both server-side and UI-side modules of MVC architecture 4. Design and develop web applications, web services API, java processes, reports, and reporting applications 5. Lead a team of developers along with being an active member of the team Qualifications 1. BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree from an accredited university 2. 8+ years experience designing and developing Java and JEE applications and struts based web applications using MVC architecture 3. Extensive experience in design and development of web services 4. Extensive experience with MVC framework architectures like STRUTS or JSF or Spring 5. Expertise in AJAX and AJAX/JavaScript libraries like JQUERY or PROTOTYPE 6. Extensive experience with Application Server like JBOSS, TomCat, or WebSphere 7. Experience with DBMS like Oracle, Sybase, or MySQL 8. Experience using development IDE like Eclipse, IntelliJ, or NetBeans 9. Comfortable working in and leading a small, yet highly interactive/communicative, team 10. XML parsing and XML schema design experience 11. Deep understanding of SOA principles and Web Services technologies 12. Experience in the agile methodology is a must 13.
