Project Description:

You will use the SAS programming language in a Windows/UNIX environment to:
• Prepare analysis data sets
• Load data sets into Spotfire and assist others in using Spotfire
• Assist in the preparation of CPP reports
• Perform quality control on analysis data sets, Spotfire files, and CPP
reports.
You will interact with members of drug development teams to identify
appropriate source data in pharmacokinetic and clinical databases, and to
extract and merge this data using SAS to create analysis data sets, tables,
listings, and figures.
Attention to quality and detail are essential. Excellence in programming the
SAS data step is required. Experience with Spotfire is not expected; you
will be trained in Spotfire.
You will be expected to work independently and well in a highly technical,
scientifically exciting environment.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent skills in the SAS programming language, especially in the SAS
Data Step
- Ability to learn, and interest in using, Spotfire
- Very strong attention to quality and detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Masters or bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, a physical
science, mathematics, or statistics
- At least three years of programming experience
Desired but not required:
- Pharmacokinetic experience
- Spotfire experience
- Familiarity with principles of quality control and the validation of
computer programs
