This position will act as a senior technical Production Support Engineer for
the Wintel Platform Support Team within Retail Operations Center
Infrastructure Services. Wintel server support and management duties will
include a combination of system administration, monitoring and management
process automation, support of OCIS service improvement initiatives
including change management, support of transition projects and
incidents/problem resolution.
Anticipate problems and analyze ways to mitigate the risk. Be able to
articulate the business value and impact of advanced technical and
non-technical information. Provide effective production support including
accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor
dialogue. Provide feedback and strategic recommendations to management.
Implements complex medium- to large-scale projects and has expertise in
project management software.
Candidates must have extensive skills in Windows technologies including
2000-2008 R2, IIS and SAN.
