Position: Oracle DBA Consultant Location: SFO, CA Duration: 12 Months with possibility of Extension Rate: Best $/Hr All Inclusive Start Date: ASAP Positions: One Good in Performance Tuning, 11g, BCV, SRDF Required Skills: * 8+ years experience in database technology and systems architecture * Ability to work independently and able to manage complex database projects from start to finish * Participate in on-call rotation with other DBA’s * Flexible working hours * Ability to work cohesively in a team and with different functional groups and clients * Oracle RMAN backup and Recovery * Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) * Database / UNIX –AIX OS / hardware performance tuning * 4 to 5 years of solid prior experience in designing and architecting database infrastructure (database, storage and applications) and solutions in a clustered and non-clustered environments * Oracle upgrade from 10g to 11g * UNIX shell scripting automating procedures * Oracle Enterprise Manager (Grid) implementations * Very strong capabilities troubleshooting database issues * Should have excellent communication skills, able to interface at the customer & internal teams.
