1. Length will be 6 months and possibly extended.
2. Job description - Business/Systems Analyst for eCommerce team to
work on EDI projects
a. Must be able to work with users to gather business requirements for
new EDI connections and/or web based tools.
b. Must be able to document business requirements, this includes:
i. Business
requirements
ii.
Functional
system requirements describing logic that needs to occur at a pseudo code
level
iii. File
mappings to database fields and vice versa
iv. Screen
shots where relevant
v. Field
level validations were relevant
c. Must be able to work with users to review requirements and obtain
sign off
d. Must be able to communicate requirements to developers and testers
e. Must be able to answer questions from developers and testers.
f. Must be able to manage themselves and developers/testers
g. Must be able to communicate project status to users or external
clients
h. Must be able to work with the project manager to perform code
deployments to local environments.
i. Ideally must have experience with
i. BizTalk
2009/2010
ii. Oracle
DBs – SQL knowledge is a must
iii. Web
based applications concepts
iv. FTP
concepts
v. Common
file types (XML, X12 EDI, CSV)
