*VB Programmer* · Location: Norristown, PA · Duration: 3 to 6 months + · Start: 10/11/2011 (Tuesday) · Rate: $40 *Responsibilities include:* - Creating import programs in Visual Basic to manipulate data files of multiple types (TXT, CSV, XML, Excel, etc.), apply business rules to manipulate data to the required format of our systems, inserting data into SQL tables, provide error reporting - Developing programs that access online APIs through internet protocols - Building HTML/ASP based web pages to query different data sources and provide user-friendly reporting - Creating VB programs that access SQL databases to export and format data in many different ways, including exporting to files (TXT, CSV, XML, Excel, etc.) or creating automated email - Reviewing code produced by other developers for the purposes of testing, problem resolution, or reimplementation - Building a project specification and document data formats and business rules. *Experience Requirements:* - 3+ years with VB and ASP.NET - SQL Server (Transact-SQL and/or mySQL) - HTML development (including forms design) - Familiarity with internet protocols for data exchange (HTTP, FTP, etc.) - MS Windows Server & MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel proficiency - Experience with EDI is a plus Thanks Lokesh [email protected] 908-248-6403 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "it req" group.
