*Please respond back with an updated resume and all inclusive rates to [email protected]* Position: Teradata Administrator Location: Woonsocket , RI, Duration: 6 months Job Description Managing the Production/UAT/Development databases in the following areas – • Several years (6+) of experience and in-depth knowledge of Teradata database administrator skills sets. Version 12 & 13.10 experience preferred • Experience in implementing simple to complex schema changes and performance improvement enhancement tools (i.e. AIJ, PPI, etc.) • Solid understanding of using DBQL and other related information to perform impact analysis • Knowledge and understanding of copying system catalog / metadata, as well as application data from system to system • Practical knowledge of Teradata Tools & Utilities (ex. MLOAD, BTEQ, TPUMP, FASTLOAD, etc.) on the Mainframe and distributed systems (i.e. Windows/Unix), Viewpoint and TASM • Practical knowledge and understanding of SQL and Database Performance and Tuning. Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) a plus. • Demonstration of strong ownership and leadership capabilities, professionally and technically • Ability to develop documentation of process and procedures for implementation plans • Ability to develop shell scripting in, C,ASP, .net, COBOL, and JCL • Performance Tuning • Performance monitoring using PMON and TD Manager. • Space Management using best practice. • General Administration • User/object/rights Management • Access and Security Management • Backup and Recovery. • Knowledge of any backup tool like Netvault/Netbackup etc. • Should know different TD tools like TD Administrator, SQL Assistant, TSET, Ferret and other DB Console utilities. • Exposure to MVC. • Exposure and hands on experience with TASM or TDWM. • Exposure and problem/error solving ability of ETL jobs which are using all Teradata Loading utilities (FastLoading/Multiloading/FastExport/TPump) * * Kindly send me resume along with contact details.
