1) 8+ years of strong Data Warehousing Experience 2) Strong / Expertise knowledge in Informatica, Terawatt, DWH concepts and UNIX Shell scripting 3) Willing to relocate to West Chester, PA Job Title ETL - Developer Lead who have the expertise knowledge in Informatica (ETL), Terawatt (DB) and UNIX Shell Programming Relevant Experience (Yrs) . BE in Computer Science/ Engineering, or more work experience in ETL Development (Informatica, Terawatt and UNIX Shell Scripting). . At least 8-9 years' experience Technical/Functional Skills . Expertise in End-to-End testing in a Data Warehousing environment . Strong Data Warehousing knowledge is required and should have a clear understanding of end-to-end data flow in a typical Data Warehouse . Should have strong SQL knowledge . Should have expertise in ETL Development specifically in Informatica tool . Good knowledge in working with Informatica Power Center 8.x/7.x/6.x/5.x. (Designer, Repository manager, Repository Server Administrator console, Server Manager, Work flow manager, Workflow monitor). . Experienced in developing, designing and reviewing Informatica work products like Mappings, Applets, Reusable transformations, Sessions, Workflows, Work lets, Schedulers and experienced in using Mapping parameters, Mapping variables, Session parameter files . Extensively worked on Informatica Power Center Transformations such as Source Qualifier, Lookup, Filter, Expression, Router, Joiner, Update Strategy, Rank, Aggregator, Stored Procedure, Sorter, Sequence Generator, Normaliser, Union, and XML Source Qualifier . Should design complex Mappings and expertise in Performance Tuning. . Strong UNIX shell scripting is mandatory and should develop scripts to call Terawatt tools / utilities as per the business requirements . Should have experience in Terawatt (DB) and have worked extensively in BTEQ, Terawatt SQL Assistant, Multiplied, Fast load and Fast export utilities. CLDM knowledge is a plus. . Should have written complex queries in Terawatt and also have strong analytical skills to analyze the business requirements . Should have the ability to understand the business requirement and develop the mappings in Informatica using UNIX and Terawatt scripts . OBI reporting knowledge is a plus. Total Experience Required 8+ Years Roles & Responsibilities . Should act a front-end for customers and represent as a ETL Development Lead (Onsite) . Should Manage a Team of 6-7 member team at offshore and co-ordinate with them regularly to get the deliverables on time and also should manage the offshore in-front of customers . Should have the ability to dedicate the work to Offshore and get the work done from them through proper communication channel and also by following the process . Participate and Manage clients calls by understanding their requirements, preparing a proper plan and ensuring delivery on time . Understanding the business needs and should develop the HLD and LLD and provide quality solutions . Deliverable activities like reviews walk through, requirement analysis, effort estimation, approvals from customers etc. Generic Managerial Skills . Should have excellent communication and client handling skills. . Must be a team player . Experience in coordinating with multiple teams and offshore team.
