We have a very urgent requirement as Web Developer, Please send me the resume ASAP. - Web Application Developer As a web applications developer you will be responsible for development efforts and for delivering the best technology solutions in a multi-platform, multi-tier environment. Translating client business requirements into operational applications. Responsibilities . Will be responsible for design and development of strategic applications targeted to deploy on our intranet. . Will have the opportunity to improve existing applications and design and build web applications from the ground up. . Will involve partnering with both local and remote teams to arrive at optimal solutions. . Be considered part of the IT function and generally focused on the system and not the content of company material, use experience with a variety of network technologies to lead internal and external clients with Internet, Intranet, or Extranet based applications, including but not limited to PHP, Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CGI, ASP, Perl, multimedia applications, database interactions and data modeling tools. . Research, track and understand new web technologies to provide technical leadership in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to Intranet and External Internet related systems. . Build applications using Internet and Windows Development tools. . Provide written design documents, test plans and test results. . Manage, develop, integrate and implement related application components, including front-end development, servers-side development and database integrations. . Play a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the applications. . Establish and communicate standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications. . May work with outside vendors in developing tests to ensure feature functionality. Typical duties . Under general supervision with minimal guidance, performs software development, customizations and maintenance, unit tests based on the functional requirements, follow IT SDLC for Applications Development standards and processes. . Monitors process usage and performance. . Handle incidents associated with supporting applications. . Manage requests utilizing our internal ticketing system. . Collaborate and work with other developers, analysts, QA, release and other related personnel on projects and contribute to the successful delivery. . Responsible and accountable for your work unit and portion of your project. . Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. . Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. . Use professional concepts . Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Requirements . Minimum 2.5 years experience developing web applications. . Strong fundamental understanding of web application technology. . Strong track record of developing web applications, from inception to delivery. . Strong understanding and the ability to build applications using an MVC architecture. . Technically skilled in PHP, HTML, Ajax, Java, Javascript and css. . Solid understanding of Relational Database concepts and working knowledge of MySQL database. . Experience working with LAMP, Web Services / XML / SOAP. . Excellent technical and communication skills are a must. . Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on a variety of development platforms. . Project, Process Management and Documentation skills preferred. . Ability to work both independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment. . Ability and desire to learn new applications/processes/environments. . Experience in writing test plans, QA result documentation. . Understanding of QA Testing methodologies and techniques. . Ability to work in a dynamic environment. . Experience with Web based Security. . Experience with Spring a plus. .
