7) Required skills: 5+ years experience supporting 3rd party
applications (install, configure, upgrade, patch, troubleshoot and deploy).
Experience supporting solutions using Web Application Server Products such
as IIS, Apache, Websphere and Tomcat. Previous experience in a large
environment with clustering, failover/recovery and load balancing
strategies is desirable. Experience supporting Windows 2000/2003 and
commercial Unix operating systems (especially AIX, Linux, Solaris).
Knowledge and practice of Windows and Unix shell scripting. Deployment
experience with J2EE, EJB JSP, HTML and XML required. Experience managing
problem tickets in Remedy desired. / Nice to have skills: • Strong problem
solving skills and the ability to resolve complex issues while maintaining
customer focus. • Ability to communicate, cooperate and coordinate
effectively with team members. • Excellent written & oral communication
skills. • Results oriented, willing to take responsibility and accept
accountability for action. Genuine desire to provide superior customer
service to our I/T customers."
