8-10 years
Technical/Functional Skills
:
Good understanding of development processes in Data Warehousing.
Excellent knowledge of Data Modeling, SQL and Stored procedures.
Good knowledge of reporting tools (Cognos).
Knowledge of ETL tools (Datastage) / scripting tools (Unix shell scripting,
Perl) desired.
Netezza experience is a big plus.
Experience Required
:
Experienced in -
Scope definition by working with the business users.
Data Modeling, defining usage patterns and implementation of security
model in Cognos.
Develop ETL scripts to process data.
Develop BI reports in Cognos.
Cognos Administration.
Roles & Responsibilities
:
Define scope and strategy for building the BI reports.
Design and implement the required Data models and ETL transformations.
Develop BI reports in Cognos.
Generic Managerial Skills
:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Interact with client managers on a daily basis and provide overall status of
the application health
