In-Depth expertise in the software design, development, and implementation of solutions. . 3+ years as ETL / Data Architect . Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse audience, with the ability to communicate in a positive, friendly and effective manner with 'technical' or 'non-technical' users/ customers. . The ability to gather, collate, analyze information effectively from a range of sources to present and offer knowledgeable workable solutions . Should have Strong analytical and problem solving skills . Good proficiency in SQL / PLSQL for Unix - Oracle environment. . Good proficiency in Oracle Data Integrator . Understanding of Retail / Consumer Business domain Roles and responsibility . Work with business requirements analyst to identify and understand source data systems . Map source system data to data warehouse models . Develop and test extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes . Define and capture metadata and rules associated with ETL processes . Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements . Completes mapping and transformation programs . Optimize ETL performance . Schedules extraction and load processes . Lead team of developers including teams at Off-shore and On-shore to deliver Quality solutions . Walkthrough of solutions with Users so that they are assured of meeting objective . Be able to guide support team when needed in terms of architectural understanding of the application Desirable Technical / Functional Skills . Should be able to lead and mentor the team through hands-on, knowledge sharing, mentoring and training . Good proficiency in SQL / PLSQL for Unix - Oracle environment. .
