Role ETL Developer Mandatory Technical Skills 3-4 years of experience using Informatica Power Center/Power Mart to implement Data integration solution. Proficient in creating, debugging and executing Informatica Mappings, Sessions, Tasks and Workflows in multiple subject areas. Exposure to OLAP, OLTP, Data warehouse, Data mart development, Fact and Dimensional Db designs. Experience in writing complex queries, Stored Procedures. Familiarity with performance tuning of sources, mappings, targets and sessions. Experience with UNIX Operating System, Windows Systems. Interact with business users to answer questions and understand reporting needs Mandatory Functional Skills/Role Description Resource will be responsible for analytics requirements analysis; reporting data assessment; design and development of analytic data sets; data extract, transform, and load (ETL) from relational databases; analysis and handling of data outliers; implementation of Informatica processes to deliver data into Data mart, maintenance and tuning of ETL processes, documentation of all activities. Primary deliverable would include Data Analysis, Design, and Development of ETL applications using Informatica Power Center. Perform data analysis to gain an understating of how the business uses the data Provide expertise in developing technical solutions aligned to departmental strategy and vision. This involves getting involved in requirement gathering, analysis, and design and development process. Create mappings, sessions & workflows using ETL tool Informatica Power Center to transform data from multiple sources including flat files, DB2, Oracle and Informix relational sources. Create Stored Procedures and optimization scripts. Document the application development process following AIM guidelines in preparing SOD,DDD etc Coordinate between different business groups and Technical groups throughout HIT for shared responsibilities. Work within different IT teams to follow the full lifecycle development process working with PMO, QMO, DBA's, and Sysadmins, Development and Technical operations. Provide day-to-day support for operational data needs Oversees offshore development team to oversee requirements and development efforts. Represent the ETL group in technical discussions and evaluations Staying current with the business needs and direction of the hospitality division as they apply to HIT. Maintain technical proficiencies with existing technologies and remain abreast of emerging technologies Total Experience Required 5-6 years of ETL related work experience out of which 3-4 years of experience using Informatica Power Center/Power Mart to implement Data integration solution.
