Candidate Profile/ Responsibilities • Proven software testing background with experience in leading system testing while interacting with relevant stakeholders and project team members to collect test requirements, identify risks and determine testing scope • Lead the team in planning and completing testing iterations and communication of test results to the project team • Regression testing leadership and management - identify and execute, in consultation with the development team, the appropriate regression test cases. Build and enhance the regression test repository with each release while ensuring all projects complete Regression Testing in Pre-Production, as applicable, before deploying to Production. • Lead the team's regression testing automation effort • Development and maintenance of test plans and supporting documentation ensuring all project technical requirements are suitably tested. • Experience pairing with developers to ensure high quality code is written using test-driven development (TDD) practices • Production issues analysis and drive improvements • Monitor and track team performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in test rigor and quality • Liaise with Production Services and Application support for quick issue resolution, as may be required • Leverage and implement industry best practices and standards related to testing • Monitor and track team performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in migrations and release management and ensure rigor and quality • Oversee periodic refreshes of the Pre-Production environmenst, ensure code sync between Pre-Production and Production, and manage Migration team activities for the execution of job chains in the Pre-Production environment related to Regression Testing • Coordinate release and Change Control calls to deploy fixes/changes to solutions as per team processes • Automate deployments and improve processes as applicable to reduce turnaround time and improve quality Minimum Qualifications • Overall 5+ years of testing experience with Enterprise grade applications • Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM, XP, Kanban) environment/team focusing on sprint by sprint deliveries • Test Driven Development (TDD) using NUnit or equivalent • SQL – 5+ years minimum • Experience with Continuous Integration/Build Management tools (CrusieControl, TeamCity) • Experience with testing of .NET applications • Note: Would consider a candidate with commensurate Java experience who is looking to switch to developing on the .NET platform Preference given to candidates with the following experience • Load/Performance testing experience • SCRUM Master certification • Experience with Fixed Income applications and/or trade order management systems being highly desirable Education A four year Bachelor’s Degree or the international equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience. *BSM Additional Comments: * Need strong consultant with financial experience.
