Therefore, the consultant must have Java coding experience. The java development experience does not have to be extensive but the candidate must be able to code in Java to some degree to do this assignment. *Responsibilities.* Test planning (35% of time). Meet w/ users. Reviews requirements/designs. Participates in creation of plan/strategy (not primary author). Test execution (65% of time). Creates test scenarios, detailed test cases, executes (including integration tests), logs defects, works with development team to resolve. May also develop tools to assist in testing. Provides testing status. Skills Aptitude for solving complex analytical and technical problems independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills 3-5 years Java development experience and solid understanding of OO-based analysis, design, processes & techniques.
