*Hope you are doing well, Please reply to ,* *shiv...@technocraftsol.com* <shiv...@technocraftsol.com> *Hadoop Administrator* *Cleveland, Ohio* *6 months+* Project Team: Business Intelligence Development Services (BIDS) Team seeking 2 Hadoop (infrastructure) Systems Admin/Engineers to help support the new Hadoop environment. *Requirements: - Hadoop Application infrastructure engineering support experience - 5+ years in a Linux infrastructure engineering support role - Unix Shell scripting - Experience monitoring and troubleshooting issues with Linux memory, CPU, OS, storage and network - Good interpersonal skills, including ability to present information to various levels of the organization - Ability to create documents of high quality. Ability to work in a structured environment and follow procedures, processes, and policies *Preferred Skills: - Experience developing Hadoop integrations for data ingestion, data mapping, and data processing capabilities - Experience with monitoring tools such as Ganglia, and Nagios - Experience with Java, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, Pig, and Flume (Hadoop tools and languages) - Experience in a Windows Infrastructure engineering support role Responsibilities include: Hadoop/Linux housekeeping monitoring (backup jobs, cluster maintenance, etc) Collaboration with tiered organizations in support of identifying issues Initiation, follow-up, and escalation of Incidents via the Remedy tool, and support requests via the Demand tool.
