Sr. UI Developer Scottsdale, AZ 3 Month $50/hr The Senior UI Developer is responsible for but not limited to: * Work closely with the team, product management, and QA to design and develop software applications. * Develop and perform unit testing of your software. Prototype solutions as needed * Document work to allow for easy hand-off to other teams. * Build scalable and fault-tolerant solutions * Integrate with overlapping cross-functional teams. * Mentor junior UI engineers. Develop solutions to real world problems and provide effort and cost estimates. Required Qualifications for the Senior UI Developer Position: * Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and jQuery. * Solid understanding of JavaScript and Ajax - with and without use of a library/framework. * Strong command of web standards, progressive enhancement and cross-browser compatibility. * Experience building consumer facing sites. * Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities. * Strong logic programming ability. * Previous experience with a server-side scripting language (Ruby, Python, PHP, JSP, etc). * Experience with a version control systems. * A strong attention to detail. * Previous experience on large codebases. * Passion for performance debugging, benchmarking, and understanding of client-side performance Preferred Qualifications for the Senior UI Developer Position: * Familiar with agile development practices. * Practical skills in Web services, content management, and Mobile development. * Experience writing applications in Java * User Interface design knowledge.
