Please find the requirement currently open. *SQL Server DBA* *Location: *Philadelphia, PA *Duration: *6+ months *# of Positions: *1 *Rate: *$50/hr on Corp-Corp *Description:* Required: * Has 6 years of experience in database support of MS SQL Server environments. * At least 6 years of experience in creating requirement specificationsbased on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes * Strong experience in Database Administration in SQL Server. * Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc. * Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. * Ability to identify and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU,memory,I/O, disk space and other resource contention. * Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication and High Availability strategies for MS SQL environments. * Strong knowledge of how indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching. * Knowledge and experience with SQL Server 2012 a plus. * At least 3 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment * At least 3 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process * Good Analytical, Planning, Co-ordination and Communication skills * Experience with project management * Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel * Demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences. * Demonstrate self-motivation and goal oriented achievement. * Capable of multi-tasking and working with a variety of people.
