*Data Analyst* Timeframe: Mid April through July Location: Brooklyn, NY Rate: $350/Day Number: 40 to 60 Description: Analyst will receive raw data files (mostly historical transactional activity from correspondent banks) in Excel format and be responsible for running macros to generate summary schedules along a number of dimensions (volume, type of transaction, geographies of originators, beneficiaries, AML events, etc.). A prescribed format will be given for these schedules. Analyst will then take these schedules and create a summary report which will summarize the type and nature of the transactional activity for each client. Analyst will be given the a template for the Summary as well. Skill sets required: * Minimum 2 years experience; strong data management skills * Very strong Excel skills (write/run macros, pivot tables, etc.) * Stron Word skills - formatting of documents * Strong English skills (writing) * Basic knowledge of financial services/banking services * Requires accuracy and attention to detail Preferred skills: * Understanding of AML transactional data; institutional banking products (wire transfers, etc.) * Degree in Accounting, Business, MIS, Computer Science Please send resumes ASAP with a 1 paragraph summary of the skills based on the JD for each candidate.
