*Description::*
Provide engineering, systems administration and operation support for
upgrades and improvements to our client’s home security systems
Review, test and provide feedback to internal and external development
teams on design of new technical features
Architecture changes to used systems, and quality of code to be deployed in
our client’s national datacenters
Perform installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, tuning and problem
resolution of the department application software and Linux/Unix operating
systems
Administer and maintain virtual server farms
Lead the implementation and maintenance of vendor- and internally-supplied
code in daily operations
Monitor current system quality status and use scripting tools such as:
Perl, Python, Shell scripting, Ruby, and C to build automation tools for
management of large systems.
MANAGER WANTS TO SEE HEAVY SCRIPTING AUTOMATION EXPERIENCE
LIKES TO SEE CANDIDATES WITH ENTERPERNURAL MINDSET
CONSULTANT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN A COLLABORATIVE TEAM SETTING.
*REQ. SKILLS: Need an Architect for this position*
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or a related technical field,
Five (5) years of experience in Linux systems administration, with Red Hat.
Must have VM experience with any virtualization/cloud collaboration
experience.
Extensive automation scripting using any of the following: Perl, Python,
Shell, Ruby and C.
Must have experience within an Agile environment
