Required Skills • Able to interpret business requirements and translate into technical requirements. • Experienced in writing functional and technical specifications • 5+ years direct (hands on) experience analyzing databases using Oracle technologies • Expert abilities to write and execute PL/SQL code/scripts • Deep experience developing data maps for migration and conversion between systems. • Significant experience with data profiling and working with data stewards to resolve data variances and exceptions • Direct experience with data analysis and data modeling tools such as TOAD and ER/Studio (or similar tools) • Solid understanding of ETL technologies and processes so as to assist ETL technicians in the definition and testing of ETL code • Able to make technical decisions that are aligned with the established technical strategy and frameworks • Experienced in developing large data environments and supporting dependent downstream applications. • Possesses a working understanding of logical and physical database design • Able to understand the larger context (the big picture) in which their efforts are a part • Outstanding client-interfacing skills. • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written • Self-motivated, responsible, efficient and organized • Able to work independently, with a high level of performance, with minimal direct supervision Thanks & Regards, Max | Recruiter | V.L.S Systems Inc.
