*Key Activities:*

Reconcile machine and site data across 350 locations and 1024 sites.

Create the subnet design and topology documentation for the SCCM12
enterprise environment.

Execute system changes to implement the delivery of new servers and
distribution point VM hosts. This will include, but is not limited to
following systems; Active Directory, SCCM12 Server, and Infoblox. The
outcome of this work will be used to create engineering work orders,
physically build server hardware, and deliver multipurpose servers into the
field.



*The resources will: *

If necessary, travel to Coalesce sites for site surveys, deployments, etc…

Obtain list of existing sCO users at a coalesce site and verify U ID is not
restricted from interactive login

Work with inputs from Network to identify AD Sites and Services subnet work
(create, move, delete)

Coordinate Domain Controller demotion with AD Ops for deprecated NAM DCs

Work closely to support End User Engineering’s efforts in desktop profile
consistency with any required directory work

Verifies and works with Network infrastructure team to ensure InfoBlox has
accurate/current 5-letter site code designations

Verifies and works with AD operations team that 5-letter site code
designations have been translated into working 5-letter AD site codes

Updates SCCM (removes any old boundaries and runs discovery) with newly
discovered/modified AD Sites/Subnets and puts boundaries in the appropriate
SCCM Boundary Groups.

Validates that there is a local SCCM DP server covering the SCCM Boundary
Group. If the server is insufficient from a hardware perspective or is not
present, engage Server Operations to put a z230 AIAB server with 25 or less
systems in that AD site, and a DL360 server with 26 or more systems

Validates overall health and installation of SCCM DP and that the local
SCCM DP has 100% of necessary packages

Validates PXE enablement and/or health of PXE once deemed active (ensuring
with Network operations that proper IP Helper statements for PXE have been
defined to the SCCM DP and have been removed for any other server—including
ensuring PXE service has been removed/uninstalled from any type of HPCA
server)

Validates any updates (patching) are properly configured, distributed, and
deployed.

Validates any images/deployments are being serviced by local distribution
point and not going over WAN.

Assist Field Services and L2-MS-Tools-Services on troubleshooting and/or
remediating issues regarding imaging and aforementioned operational duties
up through successful PXE and confirmed local imaging service—hand off any
imaging remediation (apps coming down, configuration of systems, imaging
task sequence failures, etc) to End-User-Engineering
