Please find the requirement currently open. * ETL/Business Object Developer * Springfield, MA 6 Months $55/hr We are seeking an ETL Developer (Informatica) / report writer (Business Objects) for a meaningful use project. Meaningful use is defined as using electronic health records to improve the quality, safety & efficient to reduce problems in medical disparities with patients while maintaining security. Ultimately, it is hoped that the meaningful use compliance will result in: Better clinical outcomes Improved population health outcomes Increased transparency and efficiency Empowered individuals More robust research data on health systems We need a Developer to pull data from the Cerner (Electronic Health Record System) to report on 36 measures critical to reporting on quality for Medicaid and Medicare services. This is critical work for the hospital. In short, the hospital needs to be able to provide documentation / proof of 36 different categories for government reporting. For example, "Are 50% or more of the prescriptions prescribed done electronically? " We need someone who can pull data, add it to a data mart and then reproduce / report that data. So, the successful candidate must be someone who can be given technical specifications and say, "Here are the tables, fields, conditions, exclusions, etc. They need to be able to code the extracts in Informatica and then dump that data into the reporting tool (Business Objects) for each of the 36 required events. At this point, the person must sit down with the doctor from the hospital responsible for reporting and work together to validate / verify the reports. Informatica ETL is critical b/c this person is going to be responsible for the design of the tables. The Business Objects piece is less important b/c that will be used for reporting on the tables already designed by this consultant. Highly prefer someone w/ prior Healthcare experience. Cerner EHR experience is highly preferred. Highly prefer local candidates or candidates who can interview on-site Skills Required Seven years of experience working with Informatica in support of data extraction and manipulation of source data and load to target database (ETL) Strong Oracle Database knowledge and expertise in writing complex SQL queries. Strong experience using Toad Seven years of experience working with the Business Objects reporting tool to create objects to create and deliver a report for highly complex engagements. Understand relational and dimensional data models.
