- Erwin Data Modeler - must be able to read physical data models
- Strong skills in ETL concepts and process development

- DB2 and Teradata - database design and function
- Job scheduling concepts, including:
- Job dependency
- Service level agreements
- Job criticality
- Restart conditions
- Source-to-Target mapping
