The successful candidates will also participate in business requirement definition sessions with peers and business users. *Mandatory/Required Skills* § *Minimum 5+ years in software application testing * § *Need software testing/defect tracking tool (JIRA, Synergy)* § Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor *Responsibilities* § Review and analyze functional and non-functional software requirements for completeness and testability § Design test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures § Write traceability matrix to reflect test coverage § Create test cases/scripts and execute tests § Document and report software defects § Prepare test reports § Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes § Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates § Significant travel is required *Education/Experience* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field experience Based on performance, this position may qualify for contract to hire.
