*Position : Network Engineers /Architects with scripting exp. – Chef, Perl AND Python* *Location : NYC, NY & Wilmington , DE * *Duration : 6+ Months Phone Hire!!!* *Questions for Architect/Engineer to assess:* *o Do they keep both Infrastructure segregated?* *o Do they integrate?* *o Automating the manual management processes for the legacy infrastructure components* *o Etc.* *Request/requirement:* o Although they need to have general Networking understanding, coding expertise is more important § *Chef recipes, perl, python scripting* o Hiring manager is looking to start small and build up to the 6 people so we have the chance to stage them in. § Look at what they are currently doing § Processes § Evaluate the efficiency of their current EOS environment § Get an understanding of the work that will take place throughout 2015 § Altogether the resources would assist with: § Creating the environment that can scale with the growth of the business § Be a bridge as the in-house expertise gets built up § Integrate the two infrastructure environments if required § Automating the management processes required for the legacy Infrastructure *Skills Sets:* • Any Networking Understanding – Does not need to be Cisco o FW’s, LB, IPAM • Chef recipes coding • Python • Perl *Chef is Mandatory*, whereas Perl & Python are great but if they are really good in one that may be fine. Client is more interested in the efficiency of the solution not as much into which scripting language is utilized to accomplish the goal.
