This includes creation of information structures through content hierarchies, site maps, and navigational models that are aligned with the defined user experience and business requirements. This position will create wire-frames to illustrate the initial flow, layout, navigation controls, and information relationships of the interactive design. Must be able to articulate how the proposed interactive design solution addresses the business, user and functional requirements. This individual will be expected to make critical decisions to determine what functionality can be delivered based on the needs of the business, technology constraints, resources, budget, and stakeholders. · Act as “Customer Advocate” for digital products. Identify UX trends/patterns; provide feedback to UX designer; provide usability concepts and observations on user journey and mobile interfaces. · Analyze complex processes and interfaces. Understand application data mapping from multiple sources in order to provide feedback to development team, as required. Independent, directionally driven to produce project specifications and functional documentation for development and QA test teams *SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY* The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. · Advanced knowledge of user behavior and site technical organization and operations. Constant drive to stay up-to-date with digital industry trends and technologies. · Strong sense of process and the ability to innovate and conceptualize in order to translate complex concepts into visual representations. · In depth knowledge of web design and Internet technologies including but not limited to HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS. Does not need development experience with listed development languages but must possess sufficient knowledge to interact with those who do. · Must be detail oriented. Excellent organizational ability and well developed verbal and written communication skills. · Work closely with creative and production teams to formulate the product concept, interface design, and content presentation. Highly collaborative environment. Able to translate highly technical concepts into easily understood concepts for comprehension by non-technical people. · Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently with minimal direction on multiple projects at the same time. Able to self-manage a schedule of assigned tasks, projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment with changing priorities. *ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS * · A four year college degree or combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. · Two to four years’ experience in information architecture, interaction design, and usability in the development of large scale websites. · Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and testing skills. · Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively identify and drive the requirements definition with stakeholders and product owners. · Ability to process complex, time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions and communicate actions with clarity to both technical and business audience. · Experience negotiating business decisions, as well as able to work well with people from many disciplines.
