Position::Data Stage Developer Location::Dayton,OH Duration::6 Months *Job Duties:* This request is for an experienced ETL Developer to supplement the Information Warehouse - Data Management Team at The Client site. - The team member selected will be utilizing their technical skills and knowledge of data integration (ETL) in the development of processes to load a research specific open source application (i2b2) from our EMR system (Epic). - The selected individual will work as part of a cross-functional team including a senior level ETL resource, business analysts, product experts, and product/project owners (including business users). - The ideal candidate must have demonstrated across numerous data warehousing / data integration projects the ability to work to with other project team members and business users to resolve moderately complex data integration issues. The duties of this position are performed under the general review and supervision of more experienced developers, business analysts and management personnel. Many of the tasks will be expected to be completed independently, subject to periodic review by senior technical resources and business users. - Work closely with senior level technical resources to define and refine the data integration designs including extraction strategies, data profiling, data cleansing, error handling, data validation and ultimately an efficient and repeatable process for loading data to the target system. - Directly responsible for the development and documentation of moderately complex to complex Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes. - Develop, maintain, and support moderately complex ETL processes through all phases of the project including data validation and user testing support. - Participate in data identification, mapping, profiling and metadata management as required by the project. - Additional Data Warehousing and/or data integration duties required to ensure the success of the project. *Qualifications:* *Must have:* - A college degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience - Numerous project successes demonstrating a strong aptitude in all aspects of data integration and data warehousing. - Significant ETL experience (3 to 5 years) - Considerable experience utilizing IBM InfoSphere DataStage 8.7 or above - Ability to manage task without direct supervision - Experience interacting with customers to gather and understand their business and technical requirements - Demonstrated knowledge and application of ETL & Data Warehousing best practices - Excellent communication skills *Nice to have:* - Knowledge and experience with hospital systems and business practices - Experience integrating data into i2b2 - IBM InfoSphere DataStage Certification Thanks & Regards, ALEX Sr.RECRUITER Sree Infotech LLC Email: [email protected] Ph : 972-332-3471 Ext: 102 WWW.sreeinfotech.com Yahoo ID : chakri.sreeinfo Gtalk ID : chakri.sreeinfo Note: We respect your Online Privacy.
