*Duration:* 6+ Months *Job Requirements:* The Informatica Administrator will be responsible for Informatica software installation, configuration, and support with on premise Informatica products. The successful candidate will have broad technical expertise and the ability to pursue issues and perform root cause analysis focused on immediate and long-term solutions. This role is considered a key member of the Data Services Department and will participate in design, development, and deployment of Data Warehouse / ETL / BI solutions. This position’s primary responsibility will be Informatica administration within DEV, TEST, PREPROD, PROD environments. *Responsibilities:* Installing and configuring Informatica components, including high availability; managing server activations and de-activations for all environments; ensuring that all systems and procedures adhere to organizational best practices Day to day administration of the Informatica Suite of services (PowerCenter, IDS, Metadata, Glossary and Analyst). Informatica capacity planning and on-going monitoring (e.g. CPU, Memory, etc.) to proactively increase capacity as needed. Manage backup and security of Informatica Infrastructure. Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures. Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as software upgrades. Strong expertise in Linux operating systems and shell scripting from a service perspective is critical.
