*Profile : Network Engineer (This is for a mid-level candidate, 5 to 7 years) * *location : Miami, FL.* *Duration : 6 + month contract* *Interview Process – Phone Screen and F2F (May hire over phone or Skype)* *Must Have: * · Strong Network Engineer (who has worked in a Large high availability environment) · Routing (BGP) · Load Balancing · Firewall · Linux OS · Concrete understanding of: switching, routing, subnetting, load balancing, DNS, mail; · Solid foundation on network concepts: OSI model, TCP stack – CCNP or CCNA is desirable; *Responsibilities: * · Provides Firewall, Load Balancing and switching hardware/software engineering support; · Troubleshoots firewall, load balancer and connectivity and email systems; · Monitors network performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades; · Makes recommendations to ensure compliance with business continuity plan; · Maintain documentation for network support processes and procedures to provide timely and efficient customer support; · Continually reviews, identifies and suggests improvements to existing processes to ensure that network administration is optimized; · Participates in the evaluation of network related hardware/software products.
