Tableau Developer Location: NYC Duration: 1 yr Phone interview followed by face to face must. Job Desc: As a Senior Developer you will join a talented Data Visualization team focused on delivery of visual data driven report solutions to all areas of a leading investment bank. In this role you will create dynamic data driven solutions with an eye towards presentation and design. Your key goals will include: · Maintaining a delivery-orientated approach to developing the reports and their supporting tools & data infrastructure. Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to other team members. · Ensuring successful project delivery with strict adherence to reporting and data practices and the production of all necessary documentation. · Mentoring other members in the department where appropriate, providing guidance and knowledge transfer. · Initiation and implementation of Data Visualization initiatives. · Working with analysis teams to ensure deliverables fulfill business requirements and quality levels Necessary skills include: · Data Watch or any Reporting/Data visualization Tool (ie Tableau, Qlickview or Spotfire -- Mainly Tableau), 8-12 years of experience · Strong in SQL · 3+ years of recent experience in the investment banking industry. · Significant experience writing medium to complex SQL queries in Oracle/Sybase. · Good understanding of Oracle/Sybase & relational database development, optimization and tuning.
