*Jobs Description*
· This position will work with teams of software developers that
analyze, estimate, design, code, test, and support applications and
enterprise integrations that address business requirements.
· The developer will assist the teams through the application life
cycle for new solutions, enhancements to existing solutions, and the
integration of these solutions into the current environment.
· The position is also expected to aggressively manage development
effort costs through careful project estimation practices.
· The software developer should demonstrate a high level of
technical proficiency in the area of enterprise software development.
· The position is also expected to ensure all software development
projects adhere to the Application Development guidelines and meets and/or
exceeds quality expectations.
· The software developer should be an excellent troubleshooter and
a self-starter.
· Some the recent exciting development efforts have been a mobile
web application design tool for non-developers, UI redesign of our
enterprise access control system, and number of native applications for iOS
and Android devices.
*Education / Experience: *
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college with a
concentration in computer science or a related field
- Working knowledge and understanding of development technologies,
methodologies and associated tools
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications and
integrations
*Job Requirements*:
- Knowledge and understanding of software development technologies,
methodology and associated tools
- Advanced knowledge of *C# and the .NET framework*
- Deep experience working with either Microsoft *SQL Server or Oracle.*
- Experience with *Microsoft Reporting Services*
- Understanding of service oriented architectures
- N-tier application architecture experience using the .NET platform
- Working knowledge of application architectures (Web, Client Server,
Command Line, Databases, etc.)
- Candidate must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated technical writing skills.
* Competencies*
- Ability to learn new approved technologies and apply them
- Ability to design and communicate enterprise level solutions
- Advanced knowledge of the following software development technologies:
- Microsoft C# .NET
- JavaScript + JQuery + AJAX
- Web Services
- XML schema definition and processing (XSD, XPath, XSLT)
