Or equivalent work experience. § Typically has 6+ years of programming/systems analysis experience. *Role and Responsibilities* § The software developer’s role is to design, code, test, and analyze Perl, PHP5 software programs and MySQL databases. § This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. § The eligible candidate should be an experienced Perl developer who can understand and adapt to the existing framework and build automation scripts within the application. § You will be responsible for scripting card and port data on Comcast network routers. § This position is coding intensive, and will require the ability to coordinate well with a team; as well as show personal initiative and take ownership of individual components of the development. *Position Comments* § The software developer’s role is to design, code, test, and analyze Perl and Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server databases. § This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. § The eligible candidate should be an experienced Perl developer who can understand and adapt to the existing framework and build automation scripts within the application. § You will be responsible for scripting card and port data on Comcast network routers. § Additionally, you must have strong SQL tuning skills, experience in SQL recovery strategies, replication, query optimization and clustering.
