*Position : QA/BA Analyst (anyone who is a combination of a QA Analyst and a Business Analyst)* *Location : Atlanta, GA* *Duration : 12+ Months Phone / Skype Hire !!!! * *Job Description* · Seeking an experienced versatile Quality Assurance Analyst / Business Analyst for one of our client’s mission critical systems. · This high-profile project will re-engineer the processes and systems around the utilization and management of empty rail cars. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have experience ramping up quickly on large projects, and work independently to understand business needs. · They must also have TFS (Team Foundation Server) experience *Quality Assurance Analyst / Business Analyst Responsibilities:* - Primary responsibilities will be creating and executing the test strategy and quality test scripts. - The individual will also be expected to assist with gathering requirements, creation of the requirements documents and the functional specifications. - Over time QA testing will comprise approximately 60% of the individual’s time with BA tasks being 40%. - Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, tasks and workflow analysis - Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs - Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), Use Cases, GUI Screen and Interface designs - Be a liaison between the business units and the technology teams - Develop and execute test scripts using the business analysis, functional and physical design documents - Create detailed documentation on the results of all testing including defect identification and resolution *Quality Assurance Analyst / Business Analyst Required Qualifications:* - 4 year College Degree preferably Information Systems or Computer Science - 8+ years of experience in multiple areas of quality assurance testing and business analysis - Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts - Ability to work one-on-one with the business as well as the ability to facilitate large meetings with all management levels in attendance - Ability to translate business requirements into functional design which will be used as the basis for creating detailed test scripts within Team Foundation Server (TFS) - Experience using enterprise-wide requirements definition, management systems and methodologies - Experience testing web based n-tiered systems as follows: - Experience creating a test strategy and complex test scripts - Ability to successfully execute test scripts to complete functional testing, regression testing, and overall system testing - Ability to assist business users with completing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Ability to use SQL statements to verify testing results - Flexible, team focused, with strong interpersonal skills - Ability to own assignments formulate pertinent questions and work with team members and the business to get the answers needed to complete assignments *Thanks & Regards* *Avneesh Tyagi* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions 221 Cornwell Dr, Bear, DE 19701* *Contact No: 302-261-3207 Ext 101* *Email:[email protected] <email%[email protected]>* *Email:[email protected]* <email%[email protected]> *Gtalk : avneesh.vsgbusinesssolution <http://avneesh.vsgbusinesssolution.com>* *Y/M : tyagi.avneesh* - *www.linkedin.com/pub/avneesh-tyagi/19/310/331/* <http://www.linkedin.com/pub/avneesh-tyagi/19/310/331/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "it req" group.
