*SQL Server Developer* Greensboro, NC $40/hr C2C 4-6 Months ** Please see below. Qualifications: • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Solid understanding of SQL, good grasp of industry best practices and relational and analytical database management theory and practice • Strong SQL Server 2008 or newer development experience. • Design and develop data movements using SQL Server Integration Services, TSQL and Stored Procedures • Exposure in using Team Foundation Server – Added advantage since client is moving to this direction • Exposure to enterprise level SQL Server environments • Experience with requirements gathering • Excellent communication and documentation skills Responsibilities: • Evaluate the applicability of leading edge technologies and uses this information to significantly influence future IT and/or business strategy • Bring technical and/or business systems knowledge from external sources and incorporates those ideas into IT • Independently identifies, defines, directs, and performs analyses to resolve complex first-time project issues including the analysis of technical feasibility of proposed systems solutions • Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and other team members to determine data extraction and transformation requirements • Designs solutions with broad implication for the business and/or the future architecture, successfully addressing cross-technology and cross-platform issues • Act as a technical advisor to project teams, providing special technical expertise • Develops partnerships with senior users to understand business needs and define future application requirements • Able to balance and negotiate the needs of multiple users and communicate the business advantages of various technical solutions. Effectively and proactively manages customer expectations • Effectively communicate highly technical information to numerous audiences, including senior management, the user community, and less-experienced staff • Perform code reviews, analyze execution plans, and re-factor inefficient code • Respond quickly to bug fixes and enhancement requests • Work in a team environment but can function independently • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the applications and data architectures, including the inter-relationships and interfaces between systems and technologies • Demonstrate an expert understanding of applications development processes, serving as a resource to others.
