*UNIX/Linux Engineer* Newport Beach, CA 6 Months Open *Updates: Must be RHEL Certified. Must have 10+ yrs exp.* Requirements • In-depth and hands-on experience in UNIX/Linux (Red Hat). In-depth linux kernel/networking (TCP/IP ) knowledge - true RHEL certified • Clustering / HA solution from design to implementation - solid knowledge and experience. • Solid troubleshooting knowledge - debugging skill • Strong scripting and system automation (Autosys) • Working knowledge of enterprise system architecture and high availability • System capacity planning and performance tuning • High performance grid technology (IBM Symphony) a plus • Strong knowledge of Network Attached Storage (NetApp), block storage SAN (Hitachi), server virtualization (VMware), and Oracle Exadata is preferred • Middleware knowledge: Websphere MQ, AMPS • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability and willingness to work across different groups • Will be work on Staff Augmentation and Private Cloud initiatives • HPC knowledge is a huge plus.
