You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose and refine the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. *Required* Candidate should have excellent communication and documentation skills and should be able to independently perform L2/L3 activities without any supervision or guidance and also able to work with the team in onsite-offshore model. The candidate should have expertise in carrying out the following tasks: · Windows OS (Win2K3, 2K8, 2K12) administration , Server build / config / decomm, File / Print services, AD / DNS / DHCP concept clarity, HA - MS Failover Cluster administration, Win backup administration (preferable using Symantec Netbackup /or any major backup product), Basic Powershell scripting (good to have) · Physical Server ILO/DRAC Configuration, Dell OMSA/ HP SIM Agent Installation / Configuration · VmWare: Strong experience/knowledge of VMware Infrastructure 5.x (ESXi, vCenter, Cluster HA/DRS/DPM), experience with P2V, V2V using Platespin (preferable) / Doubletake, VMware converter. · Creation / Deletion / Modification of DRS Cluster · Creation / Deletion / Modification of HA Cluster · Creation / Deletion / Modification of Resource Pools Creation · Deletion / Modification of VMFS · Configuring FC Card (HBA) · Configuring VNIC / Vswitch · Co-ordination with Network Team for VLAN configuration · NTP Configuration · Building / Configuring New Virtual Machine from template, Cloning of VM · Adding / Modification of Virtual Disk Space · Backup of Virtual Machine Disk files · Deleting Virtual Machine · Configuration / Modification on VMware VCenter · Configuring / Scheduling VCB backup for VMs · Configuring / Scheduling Tape backups, Restoring VMs using VCB backup & Tapes · Backup: Veritas Netbackup administration · Highlighting of location specific risks to project manager and support for mitigation of risks · Training to operations team for sustenance, troubleshooting guides preparation · Configuring for proper monitoring tool & should be able to show-up on the monitoring stations *Preferred* • MCSE Win2008 /above, • VMware VCP certified • ITIL V3/V2 – desired. *Personal* Besides the professional qualifications of the candidates we place great importance in addition to various forms personality profile.
