*Position : BTS System Analyst * *Location : Maiden Lane, NY * *Duration : 10+ Months Phone / Skype GC, USC Only* *Job Description: * • The Administration & Planning Division's Systems Modernization Unit is seeking a candidate to serve as a Technical Analyst for the Business Tax System (BTS). • The BTS project is a multi-year, multi-million dollar project to modernize and improve the Agency’s Business Tax computer systems. • Reporting to the BTS Project Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing the project’s technical work streams to include interfaces, architecture and data conversion efforts, devising or modifying solutions to solving complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, breaking functional requirements further down into system level impacts and specifications, working with senior management to make strategic architecture and application technology decisions, working with IT development teams and the BTS vendor to ensure solutions are aligned to the enterprise and solution-specific architectures, researching emerging industry trends, providing support for operational readiness testing and production deployments, support the planning, execution and testing of technical components and operational initiatives related to BTS architecture, internal/external interfaces including public access, data conversion and migration. * SCOPE OF SERVICES * Provide technical analysis services for Rollout 1 and Rollout 2 of the BTS Project.
