*Position:- Cisco Network Engineer* *Location:- NYC, NY* *Duration:- 12+ Months* *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* · *Essential Responsibilities:* · *Experience configuring F5 Big IP Load Balancers* · *Experience deploying and troubleshooting Cisco IOS ACLs* · *Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite* · *Scripting experience (Perl/Python) preferred* · Network monitoring, troubleshooting and escalation · Process DNS requests · Respond to customer requests via Service Now · Work closely with other groups to plan upgrades Under general supervision, the incumbent will participate in the maintenance of local and wide area networks, and voip networks including topology, hardware, software and interconnections to other networks. Provides guidance to customers and departments through experienced consulting, implementation, and debugging. Participates in pro-active network monitoring and troubleshooting. Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends on occasion. · Must have knowledge of: network architectures, topology and protocols; Cisco IOS and CatOS; EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, ACL implementation, SIP and wireless network trouble-shooting.
