*Job Description*

·         Primary responsibilities for this position are to drive the
test-driven development methodology practices in releasing high quality
software.

·         This includes user story development, acceptance criteria and
test development, execution of tests and automation scripts and tools.

·         This individual will track, analyze, and report on defects.

·         They will work closely with both product management to define and
understand user requirements, and with software engineering teams to ensure
testing and automation strategies are met.



*Job Responsibilities*

·         Develops comprehensive test plans, and leads team towards release
goals

·         Evaluate release requirements and support matrix for developing a
test plan

·         Executes tests to discover functional defects and usability issues

·         Analyzes and tracks complex defects and creates test reports

·         Participates in customer interaction and feedback process

·         Defines Primary User Scenarios tests

·         Works with Product Management in defining user requirements and
acceptance criteria

·         Translates user based stories and acceptance criteria into
technical test cases

·         Addresses cross functional integration topics, and collaborates
across multiple teams and or organizations

·         Highly leverages test automation tools to augment manual tests

·         Supervises customer based field tests and beta programs

·         Prepares and presents formal demonstrations of complete feature
stories

·         Works within a team using agile development methodologies

·         May perform other job duties as directed by Manager



*Job Requirement*

·         5-8 years of product testing or related experience or equivalence

·         Ability to install and configure multiple Linux and Unix OS
platforms in virtual and physical environments

·         Expertise with defect tracking tools

·         Expertise with the software lifecycle of defects

·         Demonstrates advanced communication and language capabilities
(written and verbal)

·         Follows through on assigned tasks and meeting deadlines

·         Advanced organizational skills with ability to handle various
tasks concurrently and attention to detail

·         Demonstrates ability to provide leadership when required

·         Ability to define user stories and product requirements

·         Significant experience with agile development processes including
SCRUM

·         Scripting capabilities on Linux and Unix platforms

·         Practical application experience with automation tools and
practices

·         Experience with coded UI automation practices and tools

*Skills* *Preferred:*

·         Experience working in a global, multilingual organization

·         Experience working with offshore development teams

·         Programming experience for Linux or Unix platforms



 *Education/Certification/Licensing:*



·         Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in Computer
Science, Information Technology or related field or any combination of
related education and/or experience that would normally be expected to
acquire the following competencies:
