Assists with technical support of existing solutions and/or products. May install new products and assist in the migration to new releases or versions of products and provide related education. In addition, a Technical Specialist may have programming skills and would be part of a project team. Minimum of 36 months experience. *PART B: Requested Desirable Qualifications: * The numbered qualifications below are not mandatory, but candidates should meet or exceed in duration and skill set target asked for, at least 4 of numbers 1 through 9. 1. Minimum of 36 months hands-on experience with the installation, migration, configuration and administration of Websphere MQ v7.0 in a highly-available, clustered environment; includes channel and queue creation and maintenance. 2. Minimum of 36 months hands-on experience with the installation, migration, configuration and administration of Websphere Message Broker V6.1 and 7.0 in a highly-available, cluster environment; includes MB flow deployments and maintenance. 3. Minimum of 36 months hands-on experience with Unix system administration; includes command line execution and shell scripting. 4. Minimum of 36 months experience in supporting IT systems 5. Minimum of 36 months hands-on experience with J2EE messaging technologies in a high-availability Websphere Application environment; this includes working closely with application developers and enterprise architects on messaging solutions and best practices. 6. Minimum of 20 months experience with Implementing and integrating systems related to criminal justice processing 7. Minimum of 12 months hands-on experience with messaging availability using HACMP clustering technology. 8. Minimum of 12 months working knowledge of Java programs, J2EE concepts and Java messaging via MQ. 9.
